FACTS

Motor Vehicle Crashes
and Spinal Cord Injuries

Motor vehicle crashes are by far the greatest cause of spinal cord injuries in North America. Approximately 50% of all spinal cord injuries in Canada and the US are the result of motor vehicle crashes. Furthermore, traffic collisions kill thousands of people every year.

Safe driving could help avoid these tragedies. The CSRO / ASRO are dedicated to reducing the number of people injured and killed on the road through the Shoot For A Cure Moto-Sport campaign. By partnering with the automotive and Moto-Sport industry, we are seeking to promote safe driving while simultaneously raising money for spinal cord injury research.
